Taisia Corbuț (b. 1997) is a Romanian visual artist working primarily in stone bas-relief. Trained at the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca (MA Painting, 2021), her practice translates psychological states into poetic, tactile forms carved in limestone.
Corbuț's work explores fragility, intimacy, and the unstable boundaries between inner and outer worlds. Through recurring motifs — hands, domestic objects, natural forms — she creates a visual language that resists fixed interpretation while remaining emotionally resonant. Her lyrical titles function as thresholds rather than explanations, inviting viewers into spaces of contemplation.
Recent exhibitions include The Feeling of Wholeness at Gregor Podnar Gallery, Vienna (2025), Meet My Eyes at the Museum of Art Cluj-Napoca; and Low Key Epiphany (duo exhibition) at Relicvar. Her work is held in private collections in Romania and internationally.
Currently based in Romania, Corbuț continues to develop bodies of work that insist on slowness, material honesty, and sustained attention to inner life.
